Should we edit our DNA? An imagined future of gene editing

There are decisions being made right now that could have an effect on global populations for generations to come. As part of this project, we commissioned an artist to investigate some of the themes raised in the podcasts. This work of fiction imagines a future where gene editing has become mainstream and discusses the moral, ethical and political divides that this might create

Great storytelling. And an enjoyable conversation started to discuss where this technology may lead. CRISPR is here today. Where may it lead humanity in the future? We’re allowed to dress, tattoo, pierce, surgically & chemically enhance and otherwise adorn ourselves today. DIY at-home CRISPR will allow us to play with our genetics.

I am sure with human capabilities. We call it engineering which using any parts of the nature and transform it into something "new" by mixing, subtraction multiplication, accumulation and division process. Something that nature never creates for some reason.
We knew that atomic bomb destroys with severe destruction and it shouldnt be existed on earth. But the fusion process always there every time in the sun. The nukes was something new? Nope .. We just make it happen in the wrong place..
So its quiet obvious to me that no other being that capable to create a terrmendous destructions other than human beings. Let us see what we ve done to our home earth. Let alone the future plan to occupy mars or some moons just to make more destructions
