Michael Phelps testifies about doping ahead of Paris Olympics

U.S. Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps testified before Congress, alongside U.S. Olympian Allison Schmitt, about the World Anti-Doping Agency and the use of illegal substances in sports. This comes after 23 Chinese swimmers allegedly tested positive for a banned heard medication ahead of the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.

I'm really puzzled. I mean, Michael Phelps has asthma, heart issues, and depression, yet he swam the 100m freestyle in under 47 seconds and won 7 gold medals in a single Olympics. So when a Chinese athlete swims it in 46.4 seconds, is that really surprising? Or is it that no one is allowed to surpass him? Is this about jealousy? Original sin is pretty scary!
