the scene in the car where he tells her he can see dead people, and tells her about her mom coming to see her dance..she crushed that scene so hard.

Only 27 years old, and she embodied the best of every single, sad hardworking mother in that car scene my god she deserved an Oscar for that 5min scene alone. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Underrated actor. I wonder if she knows she’s simply one of the best of all time.

Toni's performance in "Hereditary" is one of the greatest portrayals of grief in all of cinema.

How Toni Collette has never won an Oscar is beyond me.

I literally had no idea she wasn’t American. I’m stunned lol. That makes her performance in The Sixth Sense even more impressive 🤯

Her "Look at my face!" Lines are probably the most memorable to me of that movie. Delivered so real and believably.

She AND Haley Joel Osment should have OSCARS for those roles. One of the best movies of all time. Iconic! Her American/Philly accent was incredible in that movie. She never named the Marty movie she was hoping to get. An amazing story of how whatever she missed could never have been the break of a lifetime with a Top 10 movie of all time.

She is one of the greatest actors working today. She’s been great in everything, no matter the size of the role.

First saw her in Muriel’s Wedding. She’s excellent every time, every role.

I have loved Toni's work from the 1st time I seen her in Muriel's Wedding. It was after that film that I was not surprised at any of the great work she has done. Amazing talent.

Her character acted, spoke and dressed completely like a mom from South Philadelphia. She was awesome!

My personal opinion? She should have won the Oscar for this role.

Also it's satisfying to see her wearing a vivid vermillion while talking about 'The Sixth Sense'

Years ago, I saw her in a film called "Clockwatchers" as an office temp, along with Parker Posey and a few other actresses. She had the "cerebral" role, less showy and more introverted than the others. She was great! I've loved her ever since!
