If you have an older compact utility tractor with a standard pin on bucket this video will show you how to modify your bucket to use the universal skid steer style quick attach mount. In this How-To video I partner up with Captain Kleeman for my first ever YouTube collaboration where I use the bucket from his John Deere 755 CUT with Model 70 loader to perform the quick attach conversion.

Here are links to the quick attach components. These are the cheapest I could find right now (October 2020)

Can’t tell you how many times I’ve taken the bucket off and put it back on just because I can! As soon as I track myself down a set of forks I’ll be set! Works great. Can’t thank you enough!

This is the collaboration that brought me to your channel. Love how you YouTubers work as a team and the community that results. Love the likeminded team building.

I ALWAYS wear a Speedglas hood!! Tighten the 2 thumb nuts on the side of your hood to your liking. Great video! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for making this video. After watching this video I decided to turn my pin on style front end loader into a QA

I just stumbled across this old video with my morning coffee. You may not be monitoring comments here, but this might help a future viewer. When cutting out old welds, I use the same process, but have stopped hammering to flex and break the last bit of bead... Instead, I use as big of a pipe wrench as I can fit slipped over the plate and a cheater bar to apply force. No more marring parts, and it often breaks free in seconds since leverage (long cheaters are best!) replaces brute force. Hope that helps someone's project out there. Cheers!

Just wanted to thank you again for this great video. I have seen I think all of the you tube videos on converting a pin loader to QD. Your video by far gave me the inspiration to do my 1988 950. The project was a little more complicated than I expected because my 950 pin width is 44 1/2” .The pin brackets were curved and not flat and straight. The inside distance from the two pins was 3 3/4”. The QD I purchased was not wide enough for my brackets to fit so I had to add an additional 4” piece to my QD. 0:36 I’ll try and send some pics of the build if I can figure out how to. Bottom line, it works great and I would do it again. Just wondering why I waited so long. Thanks again, Larry.

A most enjoyable video... well filmed, edited and of interest. In case no one ever told you, “You do good work.”

Thanks for helping Cap’n out. He’s one of my favorite YT’s. And, a genuine all around good guy. Any YT friend of his is a subscription of mine. I am gonna peruse you’re library. Please don’t get upset with long comments.... I’m very wordy!

Proof that a bigger hammer solves everything.

Great job on the conversion Neil. Looking forward to seeing what kind of fun you get into during your trip to Derby.

Wish I had the patience to do videos like You people, great job. If You "anchor" the bucket so it can't move / bounce when mounts are hit with hammer it will break quicker.

Great Job Neil, came over from Captain Kleeman's channel. I got an older Kubota 2004 L3400 with out the Quick connect & what a pain in the Butt to remove them darn bolts every time you need to change bucket. Keep up the good work your a talented Guy!

I bet ive watched this video 20+ times leading up to me getting started on this project this week and Ive probably refrenced it a dozen more times while Im in the process. This video would be great with those timestamp chapter deals that you see on some YouTube videos.
