Adding a skid steer quick coupler to an old tractor - TMT

one thing of note: make absolutely sure that both coupler pins are down and locked BEFORE doing work with the loader, a few months back while visiting my local Kubota dealer i saw a "L" series that the customer only locked down one side of the coupler properly and it ended up twisting up the whole working end of the loader. one good way that i use is to pick up the attachment with the front of the loader and then pick up and jiggle the controls to make sure the attachment is fully seated BEFORE locking down the latches. i have several different attachments and some just won't latch in right without doing this step. probably the one reason i wont go to a hydraulic quick coupler, for the few seconds it takes to get out of the cab and latch it down and double check it's locked in securely it's worth it.

I love the skid steer coupler on my B2650. Didn’t even know what it was when I bought the tractor but now I’m glad I have it.

Great vid👍we brought McCormick with similar system where we just press button in cab to lock n unlock. I didn’t think about have skid steer set up but it’s worth money especially using FEL all time n adds value to tractor. I believe is much safer option👍

At work we were asked to make an adaptor that was made for an ECR88D (biggest Volvo mini excavator) that would allow the excavator to attach a skid-steer quick attach attachment where a normal excavator bucket would go.

This is a good video Neil. When my L3200 was purchased I didn't see a need for the skid steer style quick coupler and got the pin on. I'm really disappointed with that decision now. I really want to change it all out and add a 3rd function kit for a grapple. Do you have or could you make a video on 3rd function install?

What's the weight of one of these I have a quick attach system now that I would like to swap to the universal quick attach system on my LB702 loader on a MX5000 but I would like retain as much lifting capacity as I can.

Why do Kubota use the Skid Steer coupler rather than the much more robust Euro Hitch coupler?

I wish they never made the skidsteer quickcoupler standard and came out with something better that are easier to hook up like the allo style on skidsteers and compact tractors. over time as a skidsteer style coupler ages and gets tweeked and worn i find its alot harder to hook up and if hooked up when putting down pressure on it easier to detach on its own since the locking pins go down instead a side ways like the alo style hookup. im all for standardizeing Equipment but in this case wish a different type off coupler got standardized

I'm making a claim through ktac insurance for a loader that got twisted it is the pin on style bucket can you up grade to the quick attachment for an extra cost along with the deductible??
