I just bought the basix kit with my favorite color only sold as a dip powder now. I just knew I was going to hate this and it would be messy. I am pleasantly surprised however. I only did one nail just to make sure I got the color I was searching for, but it was effortless. The instructions that came with the kit is not as elaborate as this video though. Please include better written instructions with your kits. Thank you for the in depth video. I am going to enjoy my long lost favorite gelish color ❤

Hello!
I’m new to dip powder and have some questions.
I have the Gelish lamp and gelish gel polishes. These I am familiar with.
However, I don’t understand the base coat for the dip powder. Is this the same base coat as the base coat for regular gel nails?

Ok after the final color dip it shows applying the base coat then buffing. Do u just buff it right after? Do you have to let it dry a bit first?

Is the nail prep pushing back the cuticle and filing or buff with 100/180 and then adding the prep?

I have used this system on myself several times. Is there a reason that the nail is not shiny? It seems to be dull even with two layers of top coat.

Hi I see you put 1 final layer of base coat . Is this the same as when I see people putting a layer of clear dip over the color? Thanks

Just one gripe. I wish the brushes were softer. It’s tricky to get a thin application with them.

This method is completely different to Kiara Sky. They use a base powder. Is using a base multiple times superior?

I've followed your instructions received with the starter kit but every time I dip the powder never fully covers the nail and I get lumps and spaces in the application. I've tried numerous times ! Any idea why there is no smooth adhesion of the powder to the base ? Is anyone else getting these results because it's mucho frustrating!!!

Why oh why is the top coat so sticky??even after 10 minutes its sticky😳 i followed all directions..good thing i tried it on myself before a client..pretty frustrating
