If Chris had been flying the plane Goose would still be alive!

Thanks Chris! Such a great critique with your 18 years flying an F16. Really enjoyed it!

This was worth it every second of the 36 year wait, absolutely incredible movie.

There is a video on YouTube, “Carrier” where they land on a Carrier at night in bad weather. David Fravor is the Commander and he flies the refueling plane. Great video.

Awesome as ever Chris! Saw the film a couple of weeks ago and loved it even though am not a Top Gun fan and only mild on Cruise. But just love the way you pull this apart with a cheeky smile while still celebrating the lives of these awesome pilots. 😎

My dad and brother are also f16 pilots and they enjoyed this movie even if they had to suspend disbelief a little bit haha. It's just good entertainment :)

Best part was when Maverick proved the mission can be completed in the two minutes and 30 seconds. I can watch that scene over and over, so intense, great movie, some theatrics, but that’s Hollywood. Amazing Tom Cruise could handle all those g’s at 59 years old without getting sick, incredible.

The mountains was rainier in Washington, Lake Kachess for the low pass over water. I was shooting a music video on the other side of the reservoir when they passed through the canyon. We had no idea what was going on; later to learn we inadvertently caught them flying scenes for the movie!

Great review and observations. Entertaining as well as informative. Just the kind of review I enjoy the most. (Served 1968-1972 USAF)

My buddy did the flying for the movie! I worked for houma air port and his last name was HAMMOND. Also meet Korky fornov with his tiny 007 jet from the old movie.

Very nice, you really explain well and I can see that you miss flying because you comment with such joy. I love these flying stories and how it really is to be inside one of these beauties. I wanted to be a test pilot and an astronaut when I was a kid. Now, I'm going to see Top gun for sure.
I'd love to hear more flying stories and how's.

Chris can you please do a video about the UAP at Miami air show 5/28/22 apparently there are 3 witness videos out there. I was there and did not witness it however I am super intrigued that I had been following your channel months before and try to stay up to date on these occurrences. I’m sure it’s not a coincidence that these keep showing up around advanced military aircraft.

My favorite part of the movie is the fact that just like in real life there is ALWAYS some dude that comes out of nowhere and manages to be able to do what seems impossible. I've seen it happen so many times in my life I think back on it now and go no way he couldn't have...not possible...just like in the movies.
