Paul Mccartney Driving rain album talk

My review and my opinion of Paul McCartney's 2001 album Driving rain. In this video i will give you a bit of information about the album and then go over each of the 16 songs on this album and then show you my vinyl copy and CD copy of the album. Hop you enjoy the video.

Please review London Town 'cos it gets almost as much of lack of recognition as Red Rose Speedway your review of which as being the most fun album ever is spot on.  Mccartney's so called lesser albums never fail to lift the spirits in the same way as Ringo's!  Keep up the good work by the way.

I think it`s a pretty good album... I would rate it 7/10 actually. Theres a lot of good songs on this album, so it`s better than its reputation. The reviews were pretty good when it was released. It got 4/5 in Rolling Stone which is quite impressive..

Not as bad of an album as people make it out to be imo. Favorite tracks : Your way, Lonely road and Rinse the Raindrops is epic

You know I despise this album, but I still need to acquire it on vinyl for my collection! (Yes, I gave it a 1 out of 10, which I don't think I'd give to any other solo LP!) .. But I still need to complete the vinyl cycle, so if you would like to trade your vinyl for something I have, send me a PM! :)  I think you're correct about Heather being a gold digger, and she is indeed a bitch (there is a Barbara Walters interview where "Heathen" said her first year with Paul was the worst year of her life, and said it was even worse than when she lost her leg... she goes on to talk about bossing Paul around, saying "Men need to be bossed"). It's interesting that you seem to know the songs here pretty well from memory ... I have played this album about four times, and I can't remember anything! I can't tell which song from which at this point. At least you were able to find SOMETHING good to say about the record here and there.

Nice review on a very mediocre album. I agree, this was a Macca bombshell in my view, a couple good tracks, but poor in general. I also agree about Heather Mills (nice Modern Family reference btw lol) but I disagree about Run Devil Run, I really like that album, so a review of that from you would be interesting, but I would also like to see you do McCartney II, not right away but at some point :-). Also, Freedom was a single from the album.

Great video I agree 100% about Heather Mills she was a jerk and tons of other things! Have u done a review on Run Devil Run? If not I would love to see it!
