Very well spoken. Yes we need experiences to fill our mind and souls.

The syncronisities in life are there, we just have to learn how to see and hear them. Be the owl.

I didn't have time to listen today - but I didn't couldn't stop. You made my day.

I put you on pause during your podcast to go outside (it was dusk) and enjoy just sitting in my rocking chair for a bit.
About 18 or so inches from me was a spider( about the size of a quarter) starting to make his web!!! I've never seen one actually spinning from the beginning!!!! (From the porch post to a bush...Not my rocking chair!🙂) It was amazing and miraculous!! Unbelievably creative!!
I watched until too dark to see...
Of course spiders symbol creativity..
Here I was listening to you about taking a pause and kind of like you and the nest in the bathroom...Thank you!

This makes so much sense. I've just started working because I need the money. But what's been really astounding is that in the short time I have to work on my paintings, I 've suddenly made great stridea on troublesome paintings. I' m sure it's down to just what you're saying. The work is kind of an imposed break, but also, being immersed in experiences outside of my 'norm'. It's kind of a refresh - restart. Thanks for all of the amazing advice. Much appreciated😊

I learned the Art or Power of napping as a teenager. I'm a pretty dynamic person but I would find myself starting to actually 'swoon', especially if I had to stop and sit still for a while...so I just started to lay my head down on whatever surface was in front of me. It wasn't sleep, in the usual sense, but my body would totally relax and my mind would simply enter some 'elsewhere '. It was awesome and made me so much more of whatever I was doing that I loved it! I've done it ever since.
When I was much older and had learned hypnosis, I would hypnotize people who needed this 'resting and restoration '. It was one of those super-powers that people should just have..at least that's what I feel.

I take a siesta after lunch. It’s delicious. When I wake I’m amazed that it has been such a short time. It feels better than a whole night’s sleep.

I’ve been power snoozing now for the last 30 years. In the work place and at home; 10 minutes max. I’ve been told it’s unnatural and probably a sign of an underlying health condition. Ive only ever seen benefits. It makes you feel so refreshed and alive afterwards. Also I have some of my best ideas when I power snooze. 😊

Yes, I’m a fan of taking breaks and paying attention. I was hoping to get concrete tips on the power napping, but I guess if it’s your superpower there aren’t any tips! Lucky you to have that ability. If I do lie down during day I will zonk out for an extended time, so I tend not to do it.

The painting behind you is feeling good. Is it the one that had the big brown portion at the top, that you covered the other day?

I've been meaning to ask you ever since CVP ... "Do you ever sleep??" Well I got my answer in this beautiful podcast Nick ! It was refreshing & reinforcing & even though I haven't learned the art of napping yet ( in spite of living in Spain) I have learned not to move at warp speed & stop & smell the roses ! Thank for this terrific podcast !

Relieved to see that you take a rest every now and then. Are you certain that you did not hide your soap crayons in your inflatable ?
