Thank you for the awesome serve lesson! I finally know what is causing me to always feel off balance. This is a breakthrough for me and have been using your drills in practice since the video. It’s getting better and excited to show improvements on video soon.

Tennis Troll has improved his game more than any other adult recreational player I have ever seen.
3 years ago, his game looked sort of limited, very slow and really focused on consistency. He hadn't had any weapons. Now it's so rounded up and he can truely create some pressure on top recreational players. I don't know his current NTRP, but probably high 4.5 or already 5.0. Very impressive progress.

20:01 This is absolutely crazy, on my latest serve recording, I look like pre-Crunchtime Troll on the right. However, I am 5 - 10° less bent to the left, my left arm is not tucked in as much, and I am still looking at the ball. So my hypothesis is then that our body wants to relieve the mechanic stretching forces during the serve by bending leftwards. That Troll is bending more to the left than me is likely due to him applying more force into his serve. But the leftward bent seems to be a universal phenomenon.

1. The most "must-fix" element of Troll's serve seems to be the passive leg drive. This will also help him straighten up to the contact point, not hit with the body curved as you perfectly noticed. Platform stance is much better for balance than pinpoint, but without an upward leg drive you don't get advantage of it.
2. Kick serve should be hit from a sideways torso position.

16:00 As Depeche Mode used to say: "Try serving in Troll's shoes, we'd stumble in our footsteps"

These are great videos! However, I want to see his feet also. I’m only a 3.5 and I get confused on how my feet should be placed. Also, if you can move the bag where the balls are to the left or back more, it would help see the whole body better. Thank you!

When the left arm stays too long in the air, the right shoulder cannot really rotate from down to up... so in my way, not really clever... letting fall the left arm too early is wrong, although some can regulate/compensate this well (I do too), but holding the left arm this long up, is also wrong...

The subject in this video is not really athletic. He’s using modern technology that artificially assists him to serve. Take away the modern rackets and strings and give them a traditional racket and they could not perform 99% of these serves. It’s the modern technology that is allowing players today to play the boring robotic baseline game. If you want to change the game refuse to use the handicap equipment and learn real tennis with real equipment.
