I grew up with this being played in the house. My sister - an avid pianist - was constantly practicing this piece on the boudoir grand in the lounge. Day in, day out. I have no musical talent, but know this by heart. I've never heard it played so magnificently.

She is fantastic! No matter what she's playing she is "into" that music!! She becomes part of everything she plays, and it doesn't hurt that she is a very beautiful woman.

I almost didn’t like this performance, until I contemplated, in the true spirit of Liszt, this is all about spontaneity and and the mastery of spontaneity. Then I came to the conclusion, Liszt would be delighted with this performance.

The real test and proof of Khatia’s pianism and musicianship is that I find myself studying her fingers as she plays. With such amazing and rare competition for viewing in the same frame, THAT tells me everything. Bravo, Khatia! I’m going to have to make time to watch it again!

Came for the dress, stayed for the playing, one of the most brilliant musicians on the planet. Girls rock, and this girl is no flashy picture, the difficulty of this level of professionalism is shared by only a few. Definitely my fave. Make sure you hear her play Debussy. Her interpretation is how God intended it to be.
