In the subject of small spirits, this is exactly why Catholics pray to a specific Saint to intercede on their behalf. Especially if is a Saint who went through similar difficulties when they were alive. They feel a connection because Saints were people here on Earth who went through human difficulties. I just though I'd share because I found it interesting how it works in the same way within other spiritual practices.

Last year I got gifted by a group of local fairies where I live permanently. I did not understand at first what happened but they left a message because they know my psychic abilities aren't that well developed, so I will still get it: "thank yo so much for clearing out our space. It means a lot to us. You are allowed here, if need help, just call us." And I even met their leader king, he was kind of nice. Even told me his name which is quite uncommon and cherishable moment, according to the legends I have learnt. So there is no need for really big things and elaborate rituals etc. to make contact. Sometimes the smallest acts make the biggest impact. Like what I did because I did not like the littered look of that particular street, around my fav tree. I just picked it up and brought to the nearest trashbin. Start of easy, don't stress about it so much, they can feel it.

I love hearing about your personal gnosis and do wish more people spoke about theirs as long as it's clearly labeled as personal gnosis. We all have different and interesting experiences, and I'm too damn curious to stick with the same stories and experiences that have been told over and over. Hi ivy, I am a natural medium and appreciated you saying how it shouldn't be that big difficult thing like some people portray. Yes it's an amazing thing but it's just a matter of shifting your consciousness .meditation and a daily spiritual practice helps this ability deepen. You have produced a really good summary of spirit work—> the definition of spirits (let’s start there) was well-done, and you have provided sound realistic ways of approaching work with spirits… And also have listed some excellent reference materials as well. I’m a big fan of any work by Jason Miller.

I really like how you use tarot cards as a medium to communicate with spirits. I personally use tarot, ceremonial scrying and Geomancy too. But Tarot is an excellent technique to utilise. I think it’s a very safe way to get a sound and practical answer from the spirit. Really, well done on such a good video.

I’m glad to see this topic brought up, considering I live in a haunted house. It wasn’t three days ago that I felt a hand lightly pinch my waste while laying in my bed in an empty room. As if a man’s hand reached up from the edge of the bed and gave me a quick squeeze. My husband was taking a shower and my daughter was at work. No one was visibly there to do that. There have been times in this house that made me deeply afraid far beyond any reasonable explanation or rational reason that could explain what happens here. We can go long periods of time where they is nothing, only maybe one tiny incident that is easy to ignore like this side pinch since nothing more happened. Husband will feel what he thinks is me sitting down on the edge of the bed so he rolls over to speak to me-but there’s no one there. Just that butt imprint on the bed. Of course when we tell outsiders they look at us like we’re sad crazy desperate attention seekers or liars. They give you this K!” look of “imma back away slowly now and get away from the bat sh-t crazies” 😂. We’ve learned long ago not to tell anyone who doesn’t love us and know we aren’t lying. The times that were bad were really bad. Like “sleep fully clothed with the light and TV on and the door open ready to run” bad. The cat who slept with us for years suddenly wouldn’t enter the room anymore. She would sit outside the door looking in but wouldn’t cross the threshold for anything. All of this bad activity kicked up during a house renovation that apparently really ticked off the spirit who lives here. It only died down to manageable levels we could live with after the renovation was complete. While researching that in the middle of yet another sleepless night during all that, I felt an invisible hand push the hair to one side of my neck-as if he wanted me to know that he was there. I say “he” because we assume it was the man who died in this house, the one who built it and the only one to die here inside of it. I stay for the sheer willfulness of it. Literally four generations of my family have lived in this house on our family property, and I’ll be damned if anyone is running me off my own home. The house was built, the guy died in it, it was sold to another family who didn’t stay long, and then my grandfather purchased it. He raised his kids here, my mom took it over when they moved out and we lived here, then when she left it we purchased it and raised our kids here (the kids were NEVER bothered though???). Yeah. Neither kid had a complaint the whole time or we would have gone. We asked and asked. The only report was my daughter had the bathroom light switch go off on her once-which our ghost likes doing that to people). So anyway I’m going to listen to this whole video even though it’s long. Might be helpful.

Haha, you‘re right for pointing out that holding up our end of the bargain with spirits is important. I‘m studying our local lore (switzerland) at the moment and there are so many old tales here about this topic. Most of the time it‘s not about bad things coming into the life of the main character but most of the time something good leaves. FOR EVER 😱😅

And I definitely find that my different decks speak to me with different voices. I have one that tells me what people on the TV are thinking whilst I watch it. It has predicted with ferocious accuracy. You have to work with each deck to get the true voice from them. Love it 💞

I used to be one of those people, very no-no, about ouija boards. But the more I learned about how spirits actually work (or seem to work) and energies, protections, all that stuff, it put a lot into perspective.

It's sort of like being scared of a frying pan because a bunch of movies keep showing people turning the heat on high, with a towel right next to the flame, and no fire extinguisher in the house.😅
