TRAVELER-FEATHER [Complete Jayfeather time travel themed Warriors MAP]

Traveler-Feather is about the never ending time loop of pain and revenge that Jayfeather and Fallenleaves are trapped in until one of them finally decides to make a change. In this AU, Fallenleaves lives in modern day thunderclan and it's Fallenleaves who falls through the ice!

The mystery of the tunnels, Fallen leaves, Rock, and time travel have always been my favorite subplot of warrior cats. But despite all it's potential to be an interesting and compelling story, I've always felt let down by the direction that canon Warriors took. So I've been messing around with these story elements and trying to piece together some narrative I felt would meet that potential. Song choice after song choice, plot theme after plot theme, script after script... nothing seem to hit right until 3 years later... I finally came up with Traveler-Feather!

One thing I didn't notice in the first time is the fact of the start of the MAP is actually an auternative final where Fallenleafs doesn't save Rock and leaves him to die in the mud, my mind is 🤯🤯🤯 now

Damnnn I didn't watch the whole storyboard nor read the script and BRO Jayfeather being Rock just caught me SO off-guard, that was the plot twist of the century holy shit

Ending the cycle, healing, hurting, revenge, the five stages of grief, everything about this map puts the greatest aspects of a cinematic masterpiece into a 2 minute work of art and I’m here for it

I’m not even joking this MAP brought me to tears. The concept of Jayfeather being Rock was outstanding and it worked so well, and the thought of the constant loop broke my heart. The seeking of vengeance from both sides bringing on the loop was such good storytelling, and the animators did so damn well portraying every emotion and scene. Well done CheetehZ, and well done to the participants, this was gorgeous, and I won’t be forgetting this.

Most AU maps are extremely hard to follow without reading paragraphs of context. This one is absolutely fantastic though, made sense all the way through and was gorgeous on top of it~

It's kinda crazy because I feel people forget that time travel was actually a thing in the series (not something made up with the whole Time Machine AU maps) And yes, it would have been cool to see more of it in the canon, but I suppose Jayfeather being able to go back in time was because he had the stars in his paws, he was an important cat of a prophecy.

This is actually gorgeous. The animation, the smooth storytelling, and the way it portrayed Jayfeather’s panic/anger at Rock for not letting him risk himself for Fallenleaves was amazing. The fact Jayfeather’s blind and the frustration he must have felt to not be able to see Fallenleaves in the water, of how he must have dreaded him being so close to grab yet he literally couldn’t find him. And how he might have been able to save him had he not been dragged back up himself and the possible guilt, i can’t describe it but that part nearly brought me to tears. This MAP is definitely one of the best in Warriors animations.

This was actually amazing, Ik a lot of people already said this but the idea of Jayfeather actually being Rock was amazing, and each and every part was amazing! Each part of this MAP was just great!

5:41 I love how in this part it can look like they're both trying to reach each other on either side of their deaths. (Jayfeather trying to reach fallenleaves while he's drowning, but can also look like him falling from the cliff to the fire.)

I don't know if I have ever seen a Warriors MAP so creative and thought out, it actually made me think and analyze what was happening, and it was just an absolute gorgeous thing to watch. Thank you for all the talented animators who did so well to make this, and again kudos to Cheeteh for just making these stellar pieces of art. I hope to join one of these MAPs one day, but until then, keep up the great work!!

Wow. This might just be the best warrior cats map I’ve ever seen! The parts flow along so smoothly, , , the story was amazing and I wasn’t expecting that since I didn’t read the script for it. I don’t even need to now, this map perfectly portrays what’s going on and I don’t even need to read anything. You can tell how hard the hosts worked on this map and all the other participants too!! Outstanding job to everyone to participated in this map!! <3
