Almost half of Americans identify as politically independent: Poll

Owned by FOX Corporation, FNC is available in nearly 90 million homes and dominates the cable news landscape, routinely notching the top ten programs in the genre.

I used to register as a republican but due to the fact that much of the Republican party has turned its back on conservative values I registered as an independent. The red side of the swamp will never get a penny from me again.

Isn't this interesting? I have been an Indy since I left the Democrats in disgust after finding out what Slick Willie was up to in the White House. Neither party really suits me. Now I hear that half the country feels the same way. We need a new party that is responsive to us.
