While many look ahead to the golden years of retirement with glee, a new poll finds one in four people have no intention of ever retiring. Another one in four expect to work well past 65. And while some are staying in it for the love of the game, for most others, it's all about the money. Just 29 percent of people age 50 or older say they're highly confident they'll have enough savings for retirement — and only 14 percent of people younger than 50 feel prepared. Jim Braude was joined by Cal Halvorsen, an assistant professor at the Boston College School of Social Work; Tina Opie, an associate professor of management at Babson College; and Thomas Kochan, a professor at the M-I-T Sloan School of Management.

Having the choice to keep working or to retire is a great thing. To have no choice but to work until the day you die? That's just new-age slavery.

Most Americans feel almost 65 now feel they will be no retirement for them, because Employers don't want to pay retirement benefits.

I'm tired of hearing about this gender pay gap. It simply is not true, in most professions men and women earn the same. Male nurses don't get paid more than females, male police officers don't either. The issue is more complex, for example females often times chooses very different careers than males. Males often do more dangerous and some more physically demanding jobs. In many areas females dominate the field and substantially earn more than males. The issue is not so black and white. In fact in alot of middle class homes the female out earns the males.

For starters unlike many industrialized nations like Canada and France, The United States does NOT have paid time off by law. In Canada you can be an McDonald’s worker and still get a minimum of 2 weeks paid vacation time every year. Many Americans can not afford to take any vacation time because 70% of Americans are working pay check to pay check. And as a result retirement seems like a luxury. I guarantee you if your 65 years old and have the opportunity to retire and live comfortably because you either have a pension or savings to live on they would retire. No one wants to work because they enjoy working. You work to make money to live.

Is this video an I.Q. test for kindergartners? The people on this show are being hypocritical.
Suggesting a income limiting mandatory work retirement age.
Which would be illegal, Although none of them indicated if or when they should retire personally.
Are the successful Millionaires and Billionaires achieving their goals using the same economic theology. It's what you know and agree to in the beginning. If you can still do the job effectively you should be able to keep working.
(What this video is suggesting is a mandatory retirement age between 35 to 45 yrs. of age.)
