I used to lift with barbells. Heavy squats, deadlifts and bench. I had plenty of injuries. Nothing serious, no surgeries. I switched over to K.B. and I am forever great full. I get challenged daily I'm strong, and I have fun. I feel exactly how you do.

Joe I think you hit the point that I think is most important your having fun and you are as strong as you have to be which is stronger by far than the average guy walking around.

The question should be asked. Why don’t BB advocates do 1 arm KB press like in this video with 48KG + for high reps if there so superior? Because they can’t that’s why. It take a different skill entirely that BB training won’t transition over. We should start asking this question more.

I know people who follow west side conjugate. They have torn shoulders, torn hips and bad knees, who wants to deal with that B.S.. Kettlebells are the way to go.

I don’t think people realize that for fitness, you need to find what works for you in order to stick to it. I tried barbells and dumbbells; while they created my foundation I found kettlebells and calisthenics to be far more my speed. I enjoy them a great deal more and I found I made incredible progress with them.

A Kettlebell is flying around no matter how you pick it up or what you do with it
It always is moving and this is keeping your brain working and it makes you strong even a 16kg makes you very strong compared to if you don't train at all

And 20kg or 24kg is very good for any man
If you say it's not difficult or does not train you you are lying
With doubles even more so
They give you real strenght not fake like with machines and stuff
Big muslces no strenght

I feel like you should come by my gym and try out our 146lb circus dumbbell! I've so far only managed to clean it to my shoulder, lol

What about functional strength? Kettlebells > Barbells. Also kettlebells are way more fun.
