Since some of you want the datasheet yourself, here it is:
this was done by me manually going through each game on vlr.gg for all of the games mentioned. Yes it was a pain.

Killjoy low win rate is probably because of the higher breach pickrate on haven plus a lot of double initiator comp which hard counters Killjoy ultimate(kayo molly lineups, sova ult and shockdarts, breach aftershock) making her ultimate not as strong because they cant put it in the best spot to clear out a site.Just my observation

Idk maybe the Breach stat is tainted by Split. And keep in mind, Breach is in the M3C comp, so maybe it's the way he's being used that's the problem? Also it's rare to see Breach as a solo initiator, so if you screw up your initiator + Breach combo it makes Breach look bad. Just a thought.

As for KJ, she has a distinct disadvantage from Cypher and Chamber cuz she's ranged and her alarmbot is incredibly weak atm. I think it's time to remove her range on her alarmbot, give her 2, plus a slow or decay but not with the vulnerabilty. I get why a global turret would be a problem but it's her alarmbot that gets consistently disrespected (except on Ascent, but thats because of the map design).

BIG PRECAUTION! Dont pick these teams just cuz you think you can win, you need to be capable of the agent, its pointless playing jett if you main another agent when doing these team comps

So glad I found this channel, these in depth discussions on agents and viability from map to map needs to be a bigger discussion in the community. Good to know I wasn't baseless in my thoughts of Breach being overrated, I see him on alot of comps but rarely see him bring much value. But it's good that Kayo is finally carved out a pretty big niche for himself.

I can seriously see Neon creeping into the meta IF the comp is good and can give a fakeout attack in some maps
Glad the gurl is getting a good treatment, not the best but slowly moving up and finding new ways to use her kit

I think next time you have charts like this (if you made them i’m not sure if you got them from somewhere else) I think it would be SUPER useful to show the sample size next to each stat, especially for NM win rate cases like jett overall because yes, 38% doesn’t feel like a lot but if 97% of the time jett was played there was a jett on the other team (thinking maps like ascent in particular), it’s actually a very small sample size to base that off of.

Chamber doesn't needs a nerf. Other sentinels needs a buff. The whole sentinel class is very weak outside chamber.

Love the addition of non mirrored winrate. Great job!

Teams only just started to test out breach, and he has proven to be pretty strong on haven and fracture, but teams r also testing him on maps that he really shouldn’t be played on like bind, which might’ve lowered his overall win rate

Could you make a Video about why you should play specific agents on specific maps?

For example why no sova on Split, why raze on Fracture?

Love your videos and because of the knowledge I got from them, my five stack wants me to IGL

Very interesting stuff! Also for the next time you make a video like this, maybe add [number of games played] to stats like NMW% to better put them into perspective.

Seeing Brim as one of the most used controllers recently after the controller changes puts a smile on my face

I'd love to see an analysis on Haven on KJ vs Chamber vs Cypher and why KJ hasn't been doing as well. I'm curious as to why it's the case and if it would translate to the ranked/pub environment.

Something that people forget I think is that Cypher will always be over represented and have a better win rate in pro-play than he deserves because he was designed with pro-play in mind. Right now I think Cypher is one of the 2-3 worst characters in the game, but even if he were by far the worst character he'd likely have a 10% pick rate because of the value of his kit in a coordinated environment. So actually based on the numbers in this video I'd conclude that Cypher is very weak and in desperate need of buffs, but hey that's just me.

yo this is amazing content, thanks for making it

Sentinel as a whole needs a buff. Sens are soo underpowered. They are almost useless for their core role. Sage play different from a "sen". Chamber is good but not for long. Cypher is well... KJ and her ranged BS. A viper is a better sentinel tbh. During the beta days, sen were respected a lot, so much so that teams just went to the other site. Tho that was a bit op. Now it doesn't matter if there is a sen on a site.

I think these stats are both a blessing and a curse. Most of the top teams don't run the "meta" comp exactly, so usually the agents that are picked often on maps where teams disagree on the meta (sova and kj on haven, breach on split, etc.) are going to have low non-mirror win rates since the top teams go with a comp that's slightly off-meta and beat these meta comps. Why these teams are picking slightly off-meta agents is a valid question to ask, since they probably do have value other teams can't find, but I still think its not a situation where we can absolutely say the agents that lower skilled teams play are not viable. The problem with valorant and other hero-based competitive games is that usually the skill of a team defines who wins, or which team is "having a better day, " and not always who has the better comp. While I definitely believe that some agents truly don't work on some maps (such as jett on bind and fracture), I think a lot of these statistics can be questioned on where they came from.

However, a good portion of games found in these stats are from games between similarly skilled teams where the comp might truly have an effect, and that's why these statistics are also helpful. Its just hard to determine how much of the evidence we have of agent comps can be used to draw a conclusion on the meta

The controllers are balanced because they are almost all underwhelming.
