Hi Henry loved this video thank you so much!!! Parking and foot and vehicle traffic, plus surrounding businesses so important I didn’t realize. I don’t plan to open a restaurant but one day I would like to open a small cafe to help give people jobs etc. thank you again this information is priceless! 😃😃😃🙏

Hi Henry
I wanted to ask are you hands on as a chef in your restaurants or do you have others doing that for you. How do you hire people? Do you have contracts? When do you move people from casual to full time?
I really appreciate these videos and this series! 😃 there is so much wisdom and knowledge here thank you Henry! 🙏💛

Very interesting, as always. I often think about this... I've seen restaurants out in the sticks, middle of nowhere, doing VERY well... Logistically it must be difficult to manage, but people seem to be attracted to quiet, away from bustle, places? 🤔 Not easy to decide hey?, but we can anticipate people's preferences to an extent, plan accordingly... But us humans remain a fickle species 😜

I was about to buy a nice waterfront restaurant at a ridiculous discount, with all equipment, favorable lease, recipes, etc. But now knowing that the governrment can just instantly put you out of business, why would anyone open a restaurant? Do you think this wasn't a teaser as to what is about to happen? They are now saying the "Delta" variant will cause another wave of lockdowns. So they close restaurants, bars, but Costco, grocery stores can stay open. This nonsensical handling of this had completely eroded my idea of opening a new restaurant. I really don't see how someone would do it at this point.

I've been an M&A attorney for 21 years and have never seen anything like this. Done dozens of restaurant and franchising deals.
