I’ve definitely received a lot of privilege, but it’s on occasion. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, some dudes think I’m hideous, other dudes track me down and tell me how beautiful i am. I’ve also been the butt of many jokes degrading my looks too.

The only part that I don’t understand is why people associate weight with how pretty a person is. To me, fat or overweight doesn’t equal ugly. Just like skinny or fit doesn’t equal pretty.

Why don’t you see many bigger women receiving pretty privilege solidly based off their face card? Because skinny women often receive privilege based solely off their size.

Yes pretty people get Privileges. I don’t consider myself pretty, but men will run to open doors for me when I’m all dolled up. Even in some churches pretty people get treated better.
I was an Ugly teenager, it’s my Truth let me stand in that. The church folk always felt I needed deliverance. Nah, Just being too dark, and not pretty enough made them think I was possessed.
