I accepted the promise after missing the cut scene and not paying attention not knowing what it meant. Thought i finished the game and was so disappointed in the ending lmao.

In my game I tried running away from the illusion I ended up glitching myself out of bounds and running through the fields to the Milano, the grass is just a decoration so I was phasing through the ground as the screen was closing in laughing all the way and then the credits playing was the icing on the cake. It was hilarious ruining this scene in spectacular fashion.

Accepting the promise = you lose yourself to the cult which results in Game Over.

As soon as i realised i could pull out my guns i didn't even hesitate.

I let her hug me because I didn't know you could shoot her, then at the scene I tried to leave, screen went black and credits rolled. I was like WTF

When I didn’t accept the promise my game crashed

I got this because the game glitched out and wouldn't let me press any buttons.
The prompt didn't even appear on the screen.

This is why, even though I have a really good gaming PC, I prefer consoles. That pop-in in the background looked awful, and that happens even with the most powerful rigs. The graphical upgrade isn't even that much when compared to the PS5 and Series X now.
