Patricia great take on Daboll handling play calling over. Now that he knows a lot of offensive woes were on the QB give the play calling reins back over. Also I hope we don’t ever go into a game without a kicker again.

I agree Pat.! Beef up that front seven.

Thanks Patty.
I’m hoping they draft and use the cap money wisely.

Good stuff Patty! I agree with you 100 percent about getting Dexter Lawrence some help on the interior defensive line. He can't do it alone. I like Elijah Chatman and his hustle. He's a little undersized but he needs more reps and experience. I think everyone in Giants land would be ecstatic should he have anything close to the career of the hall of famer John Randle who is relatively the same size. Joshua Ezeudu needs to stay at right guard or left guard. No more tackle work for him. John Michael Schmitz needs to get stronger. Evan Neal needs to keep staying close to Carmen Bricillo. The new offensive line coach has reworked him for the better. Evan has looked as good as he did when he flashed those bits of good play early on in the mess of this rebuild.

Enjoy the podcast. From the other day you spoke about whether to take a QB in the draft. Giants management needs to earn their reprieve in getting one more year and FIND A QB. My wife, now a Giants fan, but born and Eagles fan, knew enough about football to take Bo Nix last year (LOL) and our high priced evaluators on the giants picked Nabers. Where did that get us. FIND US A QB and anyone that says a bridge QB could be Cousins needs to turn in their Giants jersey

I found out yesterday that there actually is a show on TBS called The Joe Schmo Show.😂

IMO one of the biggest issues I believe that needs to be resolved is the lack of discipline with the team in the penalties that this had. The teams had way to many, they also needed to be more consistent with the game plan and not be lets just throw it to Nabors. This is what I saw this pass season, the defense should catch up with what the coach is trying to do. They need to add depth for sure.

I hate how fans are critical of Schoen but don’t know about the cap. Clearing the cap of bad contracts was probably his best accomplishment

There is not s single bad contract on this team. As a result we have 65M in cap and 100M next year. Also, the money is being spent properly-trenches first

He let a RB and S walk and got a RT, RG a LG and an Edge instead

Trenches are essential

RB and S are luxuries

I would draft another guard and tackle. The Giants needs to upgrade the guards and a good swing tackle as Andrew Thomas is injury prone.

Hey Patty I've been taking a good look at Jackson Dart. And I really think people are sleeping on him I think we should get a bridge quarterback like Russell Wilson Kirk cousins draft Dart. Let him get some tutelage under veteran QB and then start him when are they ready or necessary

I’d cut Gano and sign a new kicker. Gano’s washed and succumbed to his injuries. I love Mr. Automatic, and he’s been clutch for so long, but not anymore.

Patti, enjoy your work. And to quote colleage Ed Valentine, here are some things "I know" as a fan of 58 years andsports writer:

- Offense wins games; Defense wins championships

- if your QB throws for more than 350 yards - maybe 375 with today's aerial focus - you're probably losing the game badly

- A great running back is not a luxury; it's a necessity

- Fatigue makes cowards of us all - Vince Lombardi

- Knowledge creates confidence. If I can teach my players what to do and when to do it consistently, they will play with confidence. And confidence leads to excellence. -Tom Landry

- Winning is like deoderant. It takes care if a lot of things that. - John Madden

I will tolerate you until i can replace you. - Vince Lombardi to rookie malcontent running back Travis Williams

I can't tell you why, but i believe in this team and it's anility to win. - Tom Coughlin after two opening season losses to Dallas and Green Bay in 2007. The following week they defeated Washington on the road with a dramatic 4th qtr. goal line stand.

Patti said the Giants will have to pay “starting caliber money” for a quarterback. Which I may agree with. If true, you’re talking about at least $20m-25m. Add a hopefully CB1 and wR 2 at somewhere around $10m each or more and there goes your cash. It all depends on how much they have to pay a QB and how good a QB they and we want

Patricia. You are an HOFer. Truly enjoy your content. However, not sure cutting Nacho is the right move. As you note Sexy Dexy needs relief. So wouldn’t we want to keep Nacho and draft the best D lineman at either the 3rd pick in first round or at the top of the second round be a better move? Everydayer in Texas. Regards

Nacho 2025 owed 3.6mil, cap hit 5mil. Highly doubt he takes less than 3.6mil to ext contract. He had a good yr.

I don’t see anything that Daboll does well. Besides a really lucky 1st season that potentially put our franchise back 5 seasons. Only thing I can hope for at this time is he’s learning from all his failures. I don’t see anything he does really well. Play calling, time management, leadership, player development, coach development, etc etc

Patti should we trade DL since it seems like a total rebuild

Albert-zkbz

Okereke cap hit 14mil, salary 9mil 2025. He is not taking a pay cut to be paid less than 9mil to extend contract. They will have to do usual convert salary to bonus for 2025. Or trade him. And not much value coming off back surgery and down yr. 6th rnd.

Why do people keep suggesting that fields can be a bridge quarterback hes a kid. He is gonna want an opportunity to finally be a future franchise quarterback not a bridge to an another quarterback. That’s not someone I would bring in unless you truly believe that he’s your franchise quarterback I would think Russell Wilson Would be the best bridge quarterback on the market who fits a timeline for a rebuild

Accountability is hard to regain, once youve relinquished it..I think thats def gonna be an issue goin further.. this team lacks discipline and fundamentals..thats on coaching.. hopefully this shit gets turned around
