The Senate voted to overturn President Joe Biden’s student loan relief program. Biden said he will veto the measure. NBC News’ Lindsey Reiser reports.

Did they just ask a bunch of students who haven't started paying their loans yet? Try asking a thirty year old who has been paying for nearly a decade and struggles to get through the month.

Well. Got laid off and no luck finding a job, over 2k applications for each job opening, no $ to pay anyway. Jobs are paying the same amount I got paid in 2012 in 2023..for the sane job. But rent back then was 700.00 when you thought you'd have money left over to pay a student loan. It's not that possible now

All the talk about student loans is pretty funny when you consider there is absolutely no talk at all about the predatory lenders and putting an end to that practice. These loans wouldn't be so harsh if the interest rates weren't ridiculous. The children are our future, lets lock them in a cycle of debt they can't ever climb out of.

Kids have no idea about how difficult it is to pay such a debt. It’s up to the parents to educate them about finances because the schools don’t do a good job. Colleges need to stop price gouging. The school debt to earnings ratio is out of whack

If you don’t agree with assisting students with loans because it’s not fiscally responsible, tell the same thing to the same government that ships millions and millions of dollars overseas to our enemies (China, Russia, Iran to name a few).

It would be great if we weren't told throughout school that the only way we can have a job is to pay 25, 000 a year for an worthless undergraduate program without a guarantee of a job that makes more than 20 an hour. It's a sick indoctrination and I will not be telling my children how to live their lives when they become adults other than be good people and do what makes you happy. Truly gross how our parents didn't do that for us and now complain about us constantly as if we didnt do everything they said and when we be ourselves its "stupid". Gen X is the new boomer.
