That’s a rental truck if I’ve ever seen one

That has less options than my 2020 bighorn. That one was 47k out the door in 2020.

Can’t wait for all the comments stating it’s a $30, 000 truck.

Sometimes I read comments and I wonder if they are actually being posted by
Now as for the truck... Yeah that's a weird one.. Not many people want a Laramie without real bucket seats and a center console. No sliding window, no bed liner...
Very strange and undesirable spec..
Hence the deep cut to get it off the lot....

I don’t understand why Ram did this. When you use to move up to the Laramie trim, premium headlights and the rest of the truck was loaded. Now it’s diluted to a Big Horn leather seat option.

Where are all of the free market haters who said that any markups were driven by greed? Now that we are seeing below msrp again it is the buyers that are greedy. We have done a lousy job at educating our populous on exactly how and why supply and demand works.

There is absolutely no reason to get a new one over this, it’s cheaper, has all the same tech, looks, and it has a V8

If the prices for these trucks don’t come down I’ll just stick to sedans

For all those saying the car market hasnt crashed or isnt crashing let me explain. So covid hit, prices shot through the roof. Not everything had mark up. I worked for a Ford, CDJR, and Used dealership all on one property. Stuff that was rare, 392 wranglers, grand wagoneer, F150 Raptor Mach E, Mustang GT 500 Bronco Raptor, Full size Broncos at all for the first year and a half. Thats the kind of stuff with mark up. Now used stuff. Any used hyrbid that was newer. Like we had a 2020 highlander hybrid that was goign for as much as sticker because youd call any toyota dealership to try ans get one and youre 6 to 8 months out from order to delivery. Now the manufacturers (ex ford) was like wait a minute these customers are paying these marked up prices, so why would we be giving all that extra money to dealerships? The mark up is straight profit on dealership side and none of it goes to manufacture. So manufactures (all of them) marked up their msrp on stuff rising for 2 to 2.5 years roughly (2021, 2022 and some of 2023) they rose msrp to keep more money in their pockets and not dealerships. So the dealerships are to blame for the prices shooting up. It started with them and the manufacture followed suit to make record profits. Well now no one is really buying unless they need to. Most people who purchased a vehicle with a loan that didnt use an incentivized rate got horrible rates. High 700s and mid 800s getting 7.5 to 8.2 (without dealer marking up the interest rate on their end. To explain that lets say the bank responds back with 6% and they allow a 2% increase /bump on the dealer end meaning they could tell you the interest rate they came back with is 8% (not 6%) so the bank and dealer make money on both ends of that transaction (yes they do this) but ive seen as high as 34% on vehicle loans. Lets say you were looking to finance a relatively cheap car 10k at 34% lets say 60 months to be conservative that 10k car you just bought will cost that person $20, 911.58 over that 60 months they financed it. That doesnt include insurance, maintenance or anything. Some states allow even higher interest rates. In Virginia (my home state) they dont legally allow interest rates to be higher than 36%. Now whats this have to do with new vehicles being marked down so much? Well here you go. People are not buying because shit they've bought since 2021 basically majority of them they are tanked in BEYOND tanked in. Which means in order to get newer trade ins that wernt cash deals they have to lower the prices that much to eat up the tons of negative equity from trade. Alsoooo CDJR might be going out of business soon. Chrysler is down to just the Pacifica as their only vehicle as of 2024 going into 2025 they dont make the 300 anymore. Jeeps are unreliable and wranglers of any orientation are beyond stupid in price for something so unreliable. They have been going downhill for years since Stellantis they own all of the following. Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, citroen, DS automobiles, Dodge, Ram, Jeep, Lancia, Masserati, Opel, Peugeot, Vauxhall. They also have so many vehicles made right now they could shut down the plants and have enough to get through 2025 at this point. Especially on those new Dodge Hornets. So nothings really selling. The used marked everywhere has been creeping down and down and down. Vehicles arnt selling at auctions. So to those who say the car market is crashing/crashed. Its tumbling down faster than you think. By the way if you read this long congrats. If youre one of those people who got a stupid stupid high interest rate on a used vehicle and need it to be cheaper. Wait till after Elections (trump is the expected winner at this point. You know it, i know it) then within 3 to 6 months rates should drop drop drop (on used) so refinance within the next year or so and keep the term whatever is left. If youve been making that payment comfortably, then shorten the new loan as long as your interest goes down youll be paying more towards principle vs interest with the shorter loan. This is a lot for youtube comments but theres a lot to the industry people dont get to see.

How does it not have LEDs on a 2023 Laramie what kind of fake Laramie is this 😂 I would pay 40k max for it. You get no features and you have to buy new headlights off the rip halogen sucks it should be illegal to sell them in brand new vehicles. Glad I bought a used Laramie with every option for 12k less than this one still 😂
