Writing an equation using point slope form given two points

👉 Learn how to write the equation of a line given two points on the line. The equation of a line is such that its highest exponent on its variable(s) is 1. (i.e. there are no exponents on its variable(s)). There are various forms which we can write the equation of a line: the point-slope form, the slope-intercept form, the standard form, etc.

The equation of a line given two points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) through which the line passes is given by, ((y - y1)/(x - x1)) / ((y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)).

Its not like those 8 minute videos where you're sitting there and the guy is gonna take 3 minutes to explain what a line looks like. This guy has saved my skin on my tests. Ever since I was a kid I've always had a hard time understanding an explanation even if its repeated multiply times. All of my teachers would get mad at me for not grasping the information but I couldn't help it, it was like they were explaining in a way my brain didn't understand.
