Systems of Linear Equations - Introduction | Linear Algebra Entire Course

Learn what systems of linear equations are and how they arise in various applications. This video goes over the general form for a system of linear equations and includes two detailed examples to help you grasp how linear systems of equations arise in applications. In the first example, we solve a problem involving saline solutions to demonstrate how systems of linear equations can be applied in chemistry. In the second example, we tackle a traffic flow problem to show how these systems can model real-world situations. Additionally, we provide an overview of what’s to come in this series, including a systematic approach to solving systems of linear equations using the Gauss-Jordan elimination algorithm.
