As for the Raspberry Pi (I recently aquired one for a university research project I'm doing), you can use it for learning Linux and BSD (netBSD in particular). Also you can use it for a media server. I have also seen people get a couple of those RasPi's and make a cheap supercomputer to learn how todo parallel programming. Lastly it's a great start to learn electronics soldering, micro controllers, LED's, buttons, etc.

I just updated my Hackintosh (i5-4570, H87M-D3H, GTX 760, 8GB RAM) from 10.9.4 to 10.9.5 and ran into no issues other than (the common) losing audio. Thought I'd let you know that I had a smooth update. :D

Congrats on the car man! I just got a 2015 Subaru WRX 6speed and I love it. Glad to see that you finally have a nice car to match your tech lol. I'm in my senior year of highschool and my friend just picked up the new 2015 GTi. Thinking about doing software engineering in college :P

Nice car! Definitely recommend getting it APR tuned. Transforms the car completely! Maybe add a downpipe and an intake of you are into that sort of stuff. Makes it very fun to drive.
