James Charles new brand is a MESS...(Lipstick Gate 2.0)

James Charles released his PAINTED brand last month and there's been some major issues with his first product.

I’m sorry but at this point if you’re still supporting James I can’t take your complaint seriously, honestly what were you expecting?
1. He kept pushing back his launch dates
2. He showed you how difficult these paints are to use during his Coachella trip
3. He told you he had to revise the formula like a month before release basically accepting that there’d be little to no quality tests done

And you’re surprised his brand isn’t going so well? Miss ma’am? No

I dont understand why creators like James would use labs that have been proven to be sht. And then go on and on about how kuch theyve worked on their "line". More importantly why are people still supporting such people -_-

The seal slipping off reminds me of when you buy cheapie acrylic paint tubes and the seals are just non existent. For someone who claimed to put so much effort into a brand is he not embarassed?

there is a spanish speaking creator that did a review a couple of weeks ago and all of this things happened to her, the super quick dry, the squirted brand new tubes and the watery texture, she even took the time to search on the packaging, the website and nowhere it said that you have to shake them before use.

If he wants people to shake the it should be labeled clearly. It’s not intuitive to shake a squeeze tube.

I don't support people who support groomers. So on my opinion, it seems karma is coming around for even the ones that support awful people. Also, like I've been trying to tell others, Halsey and other companies have done it better and have been doing better for longer. Halsey has over 30 paints with a WAY better consistency. Her white, and blue eyeshadow/paints is like *chef kiss*

He should’ve made his “paints” from a foundation base with pigments of the paints instead. It’s tried and true, and can be blended or left alone for sharp lines. Totally missed the mark with these paints.

the second he pushed the “build my brand with me 🥺” notion i knew something was up. the man is a predator who’s been known for cutting corners so of course he chose a cheap lab and wanted to build “trust” so he could try to escape the heat when it failed
