james didn’t “miss” his window. he spent it talking to underage boys. also, it’s literally the most basic product of all time. glisten, mac, haus labs have all done this and done it better. this took him four years???? plus most people don’t know color theory… like? how is the gp supposed to get the “perfect mint” when some people have no idea how to formulate that.

MAC made this makeup first (not the paint pots). They were called Paints Peintures. They came out in the late
80’s/early 90’s.
So, no……. his idea is NOT groundbreaking. 🤷‍♀️

I don't really support influencer brands. Too much money or too much drama. However, with how makeup trends have been lately, people are going back to natural looks. These bright colors aren't really a fad anymore. Plus, as was stated, we're going into fall now. So I doubt rainbow makeup and neon colors are what some want to wear around this time. Just my opinion.

As a SFX artist, it’s for sure affordable compared to brands like Mehron and Ben Nye, but he ain’t it.

Quick tip: mix concealer/duraline with a pigment/shadow, place it, pat it with shadow, here u go, your self made paint on eyes and face

There used to be a comment here that was an idea on how to make his company really popular but due to people's replies, I've realized that I agree - he doesn't deserve to have ideas thrown his way so he can thrive. Thanks to everyone in the comments who made me realize this.

yall... the danessa myricks paints are $18 buy those instead lol. they come in a wide range of shades and are universally beloved by makeup artists everywhere. only 3 dollars extra to not support a predator lmao

Speaking personally this product is so impractical for the average, everyday person. Loose paint in primary colors? That sounds messy and looks like too much work. Primary colors means mixing colors. At least the Haus labs had color stories and color mixes. I don’t see myself getting ready for work in the morning and doing an entire arts and crafts project on my face everyday to go into the office… IJS. I can’t get past JC’s problematic issues any way.
