Yay for broad nibs! How wonderful to win that Pelikan! I have Pelikan and Sailor on my "wish list, " but I am on a "no buy" stint so it will be a few months before I purchase. I did like the colors of the Yoseka Sailors. What a lovely collection of pens, thank you for sharing!

I sympathise about the heat: we in the uk are sweltering! If I had so many pens inked-up I wouldn't know which one to choose.

For the sailor it says on the nib "21K" Pro gear slim only come with a 14k nib, and the pro gear only come with the 21k nib. (I think there are some exceptions for the pro gear slim, like the sound of rain collection which have 21k nibs)

The Sailor is a 21k nib. I can see the stamping on the screen. Wow, so you won the Endlesspens giveaway. Congrats. It is a beautiful pen, and quite the pen to win. I like the contrast of the black and silver stripes, and using Diamine Earl Grey was a great ink match. You can try Pelikan Edelstien Moonstone, Diamine Sliver Fox, or Iroshizuku something. Those greys are a bit lighter and sync with the stipes. But please for the sake of all fountain pen lovers, please don't use a silver shimmer ink. :)
