I feel like you guys should literally just build in a report button onto Google ads, rather than making it a pain to go to an entirely different website. I’ve seen so many scam ads that at this point it isn’t even funny anymore.

Frankly this Google process for reporting ads is ridiculous. Google should be monitoring its ads before posting them. As someone with PTSD, my trauma was triggered by an ad just yesterday that showed horrific animal abuse. I couldn't shut it down for a good 5 seconds. By then it had burned into my brain and I still have the images and sounds haunting me. I wrote to YouTube but apparently that's not going anywhere. I refuse to open up the ad again in order to follow their reporting process. I'm definitely an animal rights advocate but no one should be subject to viewing such horror without prior warning. YouTube and Google need to take responsibility and not push it off onto the consumer.

I was unable to report a very upsetting add today on YouTube. There was no report button.

I’m in the process of a class action suit against YouTube with the FCC if they don’t change their ad policies. YouTube is the only platform that ENCOURAGES child content but then will play ads with sexual content and cussing when it’s clear the viewer only views child content. Even if they didn’t or used YouTube kids (which the YouTube kids app isn’t helpful for the content creators to make money to continue making videos), there should be type of cussing or obscene content allowed in ads. I shouldn’t have to hear the f-bomb multiple times within 5 seconds of an ad playing. Freakin ridiculous.

If you're going to let ads run on YouTube without ever being approved, you need to make it easier for people to report them. People are openly getting scammed by the shit you force on your users. You allow illegal and unethical, graphic and horrific advertising on your platform while making it nearly impossible for anyone to report it. But of course, Google will just keep following the money at the expense of everyone else

There should be another option to block ads for personal reasons. I suffer from myrmecophobia, of the fear of ants, and keep getting ads for an ant game, which showcase ants.

While my condition is less known, one that supported spiders would be a much more known case and can result in many damaged phones as they have no way to block such personally terrifying ads from popping up, and they can't report it as no maliciousness is occuring.

Yeah the burden of proof and the burden of recovery is always on the victim and while it seems like a simple issue here the fact that you have to go through so many steps and when you do find the icons they're so small clearly indicates that they're not concerned about the predatory and intrusiveness the corruption and divisiveness that the majority of advertisers promote

You absolutely need to make this as simple as it is to report any other video on YouTube. Your site is plagued by scam advertisements.
