5 Cylinder Engine - Real Animation - Firing Order

My built Volvo T5 Engine spun over with a drill. When running at 8000 rpm each piston is travelling up and down the bore 133 times a second!! Quite incredible. The actual firing order is 12453.

Fantastic demonstration. Thanks, now I fully understand the firing order and how 5 cylinder engines function. I don't really like how the 5th cylinder does not follow at the top in order of 1-4 but I guess one of the cylinders has to bottom before the others.

The reason why I use the 2.3 is because it has thicker liners than the 2.5. It's the strongest petrol block volvo ever made. I don't have a build thread yet but I'm working on it. And yes the reason why I chose the T5 was because of the sound 🖒

Why did you choose the 2.3 as opposed to the 2.0 or 2.5?

I've been wanting to get one of these engines to swap into my car. I hear they make power very easy but for me, it was more for that exotic roar <3

one would think the best balance is 1, 4, 2, 5, 3. Having 1, 5, 2, 3, 4 seems unbalanced
