This scene is why red dead redemption 2 is such a beautiful amazing game

They actually picked the location pretty well.
Twisting curves means the train has to move at slow speeds ensuring it stops easily enough.
Only issue I take is the wagon is behind a blind corner and the train would absolutely not have enough time to break before plowing through the wagon.

fun fact : this scene is a reference to the train robbery scene from the movie "The Assasination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford", the scene itself is almost exactly the same
