intrestingly the train from RDR2 uses the correct whistle signal for warning people on the tracks. the United States Federal Railroad adminstration's (FRA)General Code of
Operating Rules lists "(a) Succession of short sounds for warning persons or livestock that are on the tracks" for the correct whistle signal the FRA didn't exist until 1967 but railroads have been using these signals long before the FRA was established
