Productive daily at PMPeople
Показать описание
I love starting my workday like this: 16 tasks solved in 8 minutes!
In this video, you can see how we use Asana (free version). We meet via Zoom every workday at 7:00 AM Madrid time, 10:30 AM Ahmedabad time. The other speakers in the video are my partner Kalpesh Vekaria and the technical lead Dhruvit Vekariya. Five other team members are also attending.
Let me explain the context:
* We are in the middle of an agile project to release the new version of our tool.
* We share Asana projects to track product and sprint backlogs, Kanban boards, parking lots, etc. Every feature is represented as an Asana task. We can see the same item in different lists or boards.
* When the development team uploads a new feature, they assign the Asana task to me.
* I see pending tests in my Asana inbox and proceed one by one. If a test is passed, I mark the task as complete.
* If a test doesn't pass, I explain the reason in a new comment and reassign the task to the technical lead.
* If we need to discuss the task in the next daily meeting, I add an Asana tag named "daily."
* We can filter by the "daily" tag to see a list of items to discuss.
During the daily meeting, as we complete an item, I remove the "daily" tag so it no longer appears on the list.
