I decided to play “becoming potato’s” on hard (speed 10.5 also)
I missed one note sadly and didn’t get full combo 😭
It was my first time playing ever

As someone who is still new and slowly getting better at the game, don't listen to anyone who tries to knock you down for struggling when you just started. Start with just trying to clear songs, then try getting full combos, and once you get the hang of it, raise the difficulty. The most important thing is that you're having fun playing.

I'm right in the middle. I can FC The Intense Voice of Hatsune Miku on hard, but I can't even complete the first part of The End of Hatsune Miku on expert. Good job with that!

Yeah, it would be like right after playing for one week with this game I swear after two weeks of playing this or one week I’ve lost track of time playing it. I went from doing an easy level and struggling to now doing a hard level with no difficulty.
