Sometimes consistently playing isn’t the best imo (like another comment stated). Tbh, even small breaks can do you well, one month I consistently played and would start physically harming myself (not harshly, like slapping maybe). It was unhealthy in my case. But also, it can affect playing, I was trying to be such a perfectionist and restarted every miss I got. I took a break, came back, and could actually both enjoy the game and play better again.

And take breaks, Its true tho. In the past i always played pjsk EVERYDAY but then I suddenly quit, keep in mind that I could only do hard difficulty but suddenly when I got bacm into the game after like a year later i could suddenly do master difficulty, you dont have to quit pjsk fully but just take breaks once in a while

Another tip is if you are struggling switching note speeds you can gradually turn it up like turn it up by .1 every day or you can set it too 12.0 play a song and then switch to what you want so the new speed feels slow

As a 10.8 speed player prosekai in slow note speed is a hell, but i don't reccomend 11 or 12 note speed, those are inhumanely fast

Edit: now i play on 11.00 speed, if you get used to it, it's perfectly oki

It’s actually really nice for my self esteem to be able to look back and see how much I’ve improved after two years of playing c:
I started not even being able to fc easy, but with steady practicing I can play level 26-27 without dying :D

hey to anybody struggling on 10.0 note speed! don't worry, i play on 6.00 or 5.5(somepeople like me are overstimulated because of it so don't worry, when it's on 10.0 i always miss), if you have a lot of lates put -6 timing and a lot of earlies? +6

I'm new to Project Sekai and searched the ways to improve in PJSK and I found this. When I saw you recommend to increase note speed, I was like "I'm already struggling doing it on low speed, how do I suppose to do it on high speed?!" But then when I tried it, it became easier to tap and I can't believe it was easier when the speed is high. Thanks bro. That was 1, 5 month ago and now I can already do low expert :)

Also for improving, play songs that are a little above your skill level, the more you play the easier it gets (but do play a variety of songs so you don't get tired)

If it makes anyone feel better, I started with Bandori (a somewhat similar rhythm game) and could not full combo normal level songs. Now I can full combo proseka master 29 and some 30s. Practice makes perfect 🙏 I started with 8 speed, then played on 9 for a few years until eventually moving up to 10 (now currently 10.4)

Thanks for your advice bro, they helped me a lot in the future I'm going to platinum it and I'm going to make one of the few with all the possible titles.

for some reason the flashy and distracting backgrounds help me concentrate because when its stimulating it helps me feel more energised and helps me focus more

I have played since the game came out and had a year break. I just played for a month on new account, and I full combo my first expert for two days ago.

I would also say note timing is good to keep in mind. I put a 0.2+ since I like playing with the music and not after. My own notespeed is 10.5 to 10.8. I also like the more silent sound version of tapping. The alt sound is really good for hearing the beat.

The speed of the notes I put is 7.3, I'm trying to get used to it and increase the speed more and more.

and a personal tip for people who wanna transition from normal / hard songs to expert is to stay and practice between the lvl 21-24 songs and if you want maybe one or two lvl 25+ for fun (if there’s is a hard song that’s at lvl 20 or 21 you can also do those songs, but charts normally stay between different themes when going up and down in difficulty. For example, when playing expert songs around lvls 28-31, it will be harder because of possible spam notes or consistency, but when you go to master, the notes will instead be more variety and complex. And if it’s a master chart that is 32-38, then expect a mix of spam and complex variety.) when I was newer to the game I began doing this and it helped me improve pretty quick
