Always wanted a solar power bank but the ones I seen cost WAY more then Im willing to pay. This is also the 1 of the only 2 videos of urs I have seen. Why wouldn't you hard wire the line from the booster to the power board instead of a micro usb? Then you could 3d print a case at least. Add a toggle switch for on/ off and a router board to switch from USB supplimental power to solar. Also, that panel is tiny. What maybe a few volts trickle charge? It'll take hours to charge 100%

The idea is good, but with that little panel you must be 1 week to charge 10% of your batteries.

The PV is less than 1W if not 0.6W and the batteries are at least 22Wh. If we include the efficiency of the converter we can safely conclude that this will not charge even if left for a week in the sun...

That solar panel will only trickle charge all 5 of those batteries.You need a larger Panel to even start a reasonable charge.

749mA per charging is good.
We dont expect to much during charging using solar,
It just for emergency, it many help soon.
