people are so obsessed with wanting to see nk as some kind of hell that they forget this is an actual place on earth with a society living normal lives in it

edit: yeah, its a horrible place. you dont get a chance to lead a life there by our definition of normal, but the normal people there havent done anything wrong. they’re just people, like you and me, trying their best to live fulfilling lives. even though they don’t know when the next power outage might be, whether or not they can count on their nest meal, or whether they’ll still have every member of their family the next morning, they’re still trying their best.
