im going to pin this comment so i dont have to keep explaining this to ppl lol "supposed to be here" was the wrong way to say it, what i meant by it was that they are not known to be found in this part of the county hence the rangers never seeing one, animals do not simply exist everywhere within their native range, in some parts of it they can be completely absent and in other parts they can be the most common animal found, in this specific area of the county they are not on record as being common or even existing at all in smaller areas like where i was until now hence this being the first record of one

Well it finally happened. One of the people doing a video was bitten by a copperhead. It was cool how you managed to stay calm. You were able to talk to the ranger about freaking out. I'm glad that it was what you called a dry bite. It showed how the people who deal with the emergency were so professional. Hats of to their training and not pancaking about the bite. I'm glad you are ok and I know that just because of this you won't stop the videos.

Wow, what a great video! It stinks you go bit, but this is an awesome example of how copperheads are almost impossible to see sometimes, and also of how you handled yourself after the bite! I really am impressed with how calm you stayed, and composed. I know a lot of people, myself included would probably be in full on panic mode. I am really glad you shared this video! Sometimes people get bit, even when they do nothing wrong. I very glad that the bite was a dry bite. It was almost like the snake knew you meant him no harm, and just got a little too close for comfort.

That’s some crazy stuff man! Glad you are ok. I got bit by a rattle snake 2 months ago. I was wearing flip flops and stepped on it while walking down a trail by myself. I’m pretty sure I had a panic attack! You stayed super calm. I applaud that. I needed 8 viles of anti venom, and a lot of pain killers. I had to spend two nights in ICU. I couldn’t put any weight on my foot for week. Definitely the worst pain I’ve ever had

You're very lucky. I had a dry bite from a timber rattler about ten years ago on a solo hike. It's terrifying. Glad you're ok
