US finds no evidence aerial sightings were alien spacecraft: NYT

A report by US intelligence agencies on so-called “unidentified aerial phenomena” or what we usually call UFOs, has reportedly found no evidence that aliens are behind mysterious flying objects.
But officials still cannot explain the unusual sightings and have not ruled out the possibility that alien spacecraft exist.
When asked about the report, the White House says it has yet to be finalised.

Normally, if there's an object like that (a drone, another plane, a submarine, a missile) in controlled military space they shoot it down. Therefore none of this makes sense.
