People forget how notoriously slow the government is to respond to anything, this is no different. This will take years. But the very fact that this is happening is a huge victory. Even when disclosure happens, it will probably take years for them to reveal everything to the public.

The fact at the start Mace said a lot of people didn’t want this to happen says a lot in itself, let alone the file she held up and said this is the document your government said didn’t exist is another sign that this is different and is being taken seriously finally.
If anyone is wanting disclosure now, then you better start shouting to the sky first, asking them to show themselves, because that’s the only way it’ll happen fast compared to this.
This is a slow process and this hearing today is a big step forward.

We’re all the questions answered? Not really. Did we learn more than I thought we would? Absolutely. This is one of the more productive congressional hearings that I’ve listened to in a couple years. Hopefully we have another one shortly and that some of this overly classified information can start to be declassified.
