Both Rogue One and Andor were excellent because they brought a grounded realism to the fantasy universe that is Star Wars.

Andor S2 is the only thing I’m excited about for this franchise next year

Rogue One! Yes! Couldn't agree more. Stunning visuals, great story telling, complex characters who all change and grow, and man, it has some serious emotionally charged beats. Also, Darth Vader's entrance is really well done (and very respectful of the source material; really the entire movie is unique and fresh while respecting the source material- it feels like an old star wars movie while being something new).

You know, I think they in a way got it right. The truth is each fan has different reasons for liking the franchise. It seems that each project Disney has made has resonated with some fans and I think that’s the point. In the Disney Star Wars era, there’s something for everyone to enjoy and I think that’s beautiful. I personally really enjoyed TFA, Rogue One, TLJ, Mando seasons 1 & 2, the last 4 episodes of The Clone Wars, and Andor. Some projects I haven’t liked stuck really well with other fans, like TBB. I think that’s okay because there’s lots for me to like and I’m not saying there isn’t anything to criticize here, but I don’t think there’s a reality where everyone is happy with most of the projects. I guess think it’s great that there’s been star wars content in recent years and I think practically every fan has found something they enjoy in this new era of Star Wars content.
