I would like to learn how you create that hole for the HDMI cable and where that cable end up and how you did in the ceiling to get it to your destination spot.

You sir, are a life saver. I was racking my brains why one side of my screen wasn't straight and was getting the trapezoid effect. I measured the centre of the screen redone the projector mount position and now is all good. So many videos out there not explaining this and that's like a crucial part. Many thanks

I picked up a nice used Epson Powerlite 2040 projector to start showing DVDs and Blu ray discs... but I couldn't find any instructions from Epson as to how to ceiling mount the projector. Your video showed me that research and planning are key to a successful ceiling mount. I compliment you on your well done video, which was properly photographed and nicely edited. Thank you, Chad.

It would be nice to buy a mount that has a rail so the projector can be moved closer/away from the screen by a few inches (so I don't have to use zoom) also in case you change projector & it has slightly different throw ratio ? It would also make install a lot easier as your measurements from the screen don't need to be perfect - just fine tune forward/back on the rail to get it spot on 👍 I have the Anker Nebula Max projector with ceiling mount - haven't mounted it yet because I'm looking for a more flexible solution ?

Hi and thanks for the video. Did you have to apply a vertical offset between the projector's lens and top of your screen?

I have an Optoma GT 1080e. I saw from your great video that you affixed the mount to the underside of your projector, so am I right that the picture can be inverted on the screen?

I have a question. When we mount near ceiling, we have to tilt the projector so that the image is on the screen. Will it affect picture quality as opposed to placing the projector lower down at the level of center of the screen?
