Science Behind it
When you spin the water in the jar, it creates a vortex in the center. As the water spins, centripetal force causes the water to spin around that vortex making a mini tornado. {Hurricanes have a vortex too.}

If you like this experiment please click thumbs up and Subscribe! thanks for watching

Remember to just add a small amount of dish soap or it might get to cloudy.

The swirling motion you give the jar forms a vortex and is a easy way to create your own tornado. You can add food coloring or glitter to add some awesome tornados.

Tornado alley is region in the Central United States where tornados often occur. The states of Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa and Missouri are in Tornado Alley.

The Fujita Scale

In 1971 Dr T. Theodore Fujita developed a scale to classify a tornado's speed and potential for damage. Tornados are rated on the Fujita scale after they have passed through an area and damage has been assessed.

2018 Jarnado (A Tornado Formed At ### EST, The Tornado Was Rated EF0.2 After Wasting Many Resources.The Tornado Kept Reforming Untill The Water In The Jar Was Thrown Away.Damages: 2.56 Dollars.) The Tornado Never Did Damage To Earth.Only Causing Minor Spills.This Tornado Also Picked Up Alot Of Water. The Tornado Warning Was Only miles wide

Wow, that's pretty cool. I liked the glitter one, that gave an idea of how the debris is picked up and thrown around.

I'll do it for my grandson Misael. He loves to see tornadoes on YouTube.

Hi I would like to say that's a whirlpool not a tornado

To make a tornado, get a cardboard box, a good desktop fan, scissors, dry ice, or any type of smoke.First, cut a hole in the top of the cardboard box, then put the fan on that box, after that put the dry ice in a bowl of hot water and place it in the box (if not using dry ice just put the smoke or whatever in the box)under the fan and turn the fan on 👍
