In this type of conector the X is for the live wire marked as L in other hardware the wire color is black for 110V or blue for 240V,

The Y marking is for the neutral wire N,
white wire for 110V, and brown wire for 240V. The ground inlet, green screw, takes the solid green or green-yellow wire. I hope this helps...

Hi - Does anyone know where I can find those barrels for the wire? I can't seem to find these anywhere. I'm using 12 gauge wire, is there a particular size barrel for this wire?

what if all 3 screws on the l5 plug (3 prong) are the same color?

I clicked on this video cuz I thought it would tell you which wire goes where I can see where the ground goes but you know a lot of these cheap adapters don't tell you exactly which is which and I went through like three of these videos everybody tells you the obvious but nobody tells you which wire goes where because all the color screws are the same with no labeling
