My Grandfather had a 69 then 75 Grand Prix, and my folks currently own the 75... Gorgeous cars!!

I had 2 Corvairs. Loved then to death. My parents had a 55 Caddy & it was much more desirable than a 49. All the GM cars in the 58-60 years were works of art, I can't even choose an outright favorite.

Can’t argue with anything on this list. All cool cars. 😊
Most of them I grew up with and were normal everyday cars.

I was hold my breath waiting to see a ‘63 split window vet and a ‘66 Tornado…dang, timeless beauties!!!

WOW! Ten through five were great. I would choose a 59 Cadillac, 58 Impala Hardtop, 62 Starfire and 49 Oldsmobile Business Coupe myself. Great video :)

The 70 Camaro body stying was a piece of art. I had a 67 with the coolest dashboard / instrument cluster they should have kept

You had gotten down to number 3 and I was thinking "Title says 1948 to 1972; how can he exclude the 1949 Cadillac (especially the Sedanette)?". My faith is restored. BTW, I have a 1966 Corvair (convertible), so I'm glad that was #10.

I also love the '57 Nomad! Mine was also RED and WHITE. When I got it the 283 was gone and it had a 265 V-8. I put the three speed standard with a Hurst shifter in it. Hated to let it go.

This is one of the VERY FEW lists of this type that I find NO issues with! Every one on here is a winner!

My former boss who was born in 1949 always spoke of how she was driven home from the hospital in a 1949 Caddy. She has ever since longed to buy one for herself. It is her dream car. To me it is what started the modern era at GM. Even the fins came from its tiny ones. Good list even though I don't agree with every pick. I guess that's why we love cars.
Good job. 😎👍

My friend in Detroit had a 1967 GTO. 399 built from cam, pistons, oversized crank. He flood our our lot with smoke from his burnouts and it covered the street also.traffic stopped . HyFy gas during the shortage. Cars would sit for hours to top of tanks. This little GTO was without a doubt the baddest ride I was ever in.

it's a decent list, i grew up in the 50's and 60's and we would take pride in being able to identify all the cars on the road. my dad was a modest chevy guy and me too. i would have included a 55 chevy and a buick from the early 50's. thnx for the show.

You sold me when you said "GM Autonomy"....all GM cars are all just re-badged cars nowadays....So freaking sad what happened to car design due to government

My car, is a 76 chevy impala. In 79 my late dad bought one and at age 14 it was the first car I ever drove. Love at first sight.

Great list. I am partial to early Monte Carlo's. I think they were just beautiful.

My substitutions would be a ‘60 Electra 225 vs the ‘70… the final year of Buick tail fins and drastically toned down from the ‘59, there’s not a bad angle. And while the ‘67 El Dorado is great, the nod for that platform has to go to the original… the ‘66 Toronado. Great video. 👍

Best of all time, the '66-'67 A-body Buick Special and Skylark including the Sport Wagon.
