Hey Brother. I'm sorry for leaving a comment on your videos that I've been watching on the TV in my living room, but I'm recovering from my 1st knee replacement surgery. I hijacked my oldest sons laptop to leave a comment on this latest video of yours. I have to say I was moved to tears several times after listening to the testimony of the blind woodworker who was seeking help, or ideas for improving work flow through his shop.!?! I certainly most admit, after that man's inspiring story, I truly find myself without excuse. Thank You Sir, for sharing such a story, and continuously encouraging your viewership to press-on. Do tell the Mrs. Happy Mother's Day.

Hey, you can use those 1/4 inch strips for succulent containers. Everybody loves a nice looking container for their succulent plants.

Great video Series! Loving it!
With those 1/4" scraps, you could probably make little "Painting Easels" to hold pictures or phones/tablets. Like an A-frame, with a hinge-like strut as a stand from the back. the horizontal part of the "A" is where the phone sits. Maybe its been done before, but it would be a use for the scraps...

My wife likes hanging baskets for her plants, and I think she would really like one of those. Guess I will need to hit the scrap pile and make her a couple of them

Hey Matt, I was at a farmers market and found a guy the was selling wooden stuff. I recognized at least half of his inventory from your videos. The mini picnic tables for mustard and ketchup bottles with salt and pepper shakers, and the napkin dispenser table, were both priced at $35 (each).

Making that abstract art into a shape of a state would do well also 😊

Hey Matthew. I’m a hobby woodworker who really enjoys gifting my large family projects from the wood shop. I watch your videos to get me pumped up, work smart, and have confidence in my woodworking. Thanks again, sir.

I am the same way with wood. I got a lot of shit everywhere. I am making the condiment and paper towel tables with my scrap right now! I seem to save stuff I know I should toss!

Just started watching your videos. They are informative and educational. Take it from a man that worked in a wood shop for 20 years, you have a true talent. Keep up the great work 👍

Omgosh! I made one of the scrap planters earlier this year, never thought of selling them. I remembered my dad making something similar back in the 70's. I drilled holes about a 1/2 inch from the ends and put parachute cord through tied at the top and made a bottom tassel. So easy to do

I just don't believe people pay top money for some of these. That's so funny. Great video Matt!

Thanks for your videos. I really get inspired by your work. I looked at the $4, 000 wall art pic. I saw the shape of Texas. And since I’m from Texas… I gotta try it. Thanks again.

That French cleat plant box system’s about to be my attached-to-the-fence outdoor herb garden.
