I'm not gonna lie, I just randomly discovered this band a few weeks ago and started going through their entire catalog. I find they're one of those bands where I have to listen to some of their songs a few times before getting into it, but man..once I do start to get into it, I'm hooked. This is one of those songs I noticed was extremely popular through some reading and couldn't understand fully why until now. It really is a masterpiece. I was just driving into Providence on this beautiful spring day, blasting this the whole way, and I believe I might've had what some a call a spiritual experience. I've been numb from heroin for the past decade + and I'm about to celebrate 5 months sober, so music just hits me on a whole new level these days now that I have a brand new perspective on life. Even during these wild, sad times, there's a lot to be appreciative and grateful for. Anyway, thank you to the YouTube Algorithm Gods for helping me find these dudes.
