Whenever that opening guitar riff comes in, whether it’s from the original song, the new one, live versions, recorded on an iPhone or mixed beautifully like on kexp, I just feel good. It sounds like when you’ve been far from home for a long time and you’re driving back and you see the name of your town on the highway sign and you know you’re not far. It’s hopeful and makes you wanna dance. It’s familiar but exciting. It’s fast and choppy but it’s comforting. It just makes me feel okay.

I think that, till the date, this is the best live version of Bodys uploaded. Everyone looks so committed and like giving all they have in their performances. It gives me the feels of a huge amount of energy.
