I am glad that so many people are gathered in one place, supporting each other.

I went though Hurricane Katrina. My family and I lost our homes, jobs, schools, everything! It's been over 15 years and life is still not the same. I'm praying for all of you, I'm sorry ❤

Watching this video makes me feel so guilty. I live in Tallahassee, FL. Helene was supposed to hit us directly. I packed up a weeks worth of clothes for each of us and we left to Eufaula, GA. We were extremely lucky the hurricane shifted or we would have absolutely nothing. I have 2 young special needs kids and was scared to death. I thought we’d come back to nothing and didn’t know what we were going to do. Turns out, we came home and everything was fine. Even my grandmother evacuated for the first time in over 50 years. This could’ve easily been us. I’m so sorry for what you’re going through.

I’m a 45 year resident of the Asheville area and won’t leave it. God bless all of you for the aid and prayers being sent to us. We’ll be fine again

Nice to know there is that 1 person that is going to gather his neighbors & a community that will come together in times like this.

Hi so alot of you guys are blaming us for being "unprepared" the hurricane wasnt supposed to hit us. People were told to evacuate to North Carolina. The storm shifted and hit us instead. A second point there are legitimately entire towns that simple do not exist anymore you cannot prepare for something like that.

Could a follow up be posted? How is everyone, and their pets, doing now? Where are you able to stay? Worried and wishing you strength.

I would never even think to prepare for a hurricane hundreds of miles inland and a thousand feet up.

This is awful. My heart and prayers go out them. 2 years ago during Hurricane Ian my family and I stayed at home. We lived on Bonita Beach. The storm surge was so bad it came up through the 2nd floor. It was so scary. We lost our home and cars and everything else we owned. I left with my kids, my husband, and our 2 dogs using extension cords for their leashes. It was tough. ❤❤❤❤ Prayers and love to all affected by these hurricanes.

Hope you ladies & Gentlemen are all safe !!!

I can't imagine being stuck in that disaster. I would be worried about gators especially with pets. You're in their world now & it happens more than you think .
